Completed in December last year, the bridge’s design incorporates references to prominent Whadjuk Noongar people and culture, while providing the community with a new and safer way to walk, wheel, and ride between Victoria Park and East Perth.
Civmec is proud to have contributed to such an iconic Perth landmark and is grateful for the project’s recognition as the recipient of one of Australia’s premier bridge awards. Additionally, the project has been shortlisted for the International Footbridge Award, which will be awarded later this year.
Along with Optus Stadium, the Matagarup Bridge and Elizabeth Quay, the bridge is another example of iconic Perth infrastructure delivered by Civmec.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in delivering the project, your efforts are greatly appreciated and reflect your commitment to providing innovative solutions for the local community.
